The Voice-Acoustic Score-6 is a passive 2-way system equipped with two 6,5” transducers in a D’Appolito arrangement and a 1” compression driver coupled to a rotatable CD horn with either 60° x 40°, 90° x 60° or 120° x 40° dispersion.
The 120° horn is ideal for listeners who are very far away from the main dispersion centre. Thanks to the narrow beam angle of 40° in the vertical axis, a very good high-frequency response on long distance is achieved with this horizontally wide-radiating horn.
The D’Appolito design of the Score-6 ensures a long way throw in the low-mid frequencies. The arrangement of the 6,5” transducers above and below the horn creates a physically induced coupling and vertically directed dispersion down to the low-mid frequencies.
The two 6,5” transducers of the latest development generation generate very high sound quality with lowest distortion. The innovative dual-gap technology ensures a very symmetrical drive at high excursions and very good cooling for minimal heat loss through power compression. The power handling of each 6,5” transducer has thus been increased to a considerable 320W AES. With 640W AES power handling, low distortion and high excursion, the Score-6 achieves above-average performance in its size class.
The Score-6 is a full-range loudspeaker and enables speech reinforcement and background music without the need of a separate subwoofer. In combination with subwoofers, the result is a stylish and elegant high-performance compact PA that satisfies the highest sound quality requirements. With its slim appearance, the Score-6 looks stunning in all mobile applications and fixed installations.
The Score-6 has a 55° and 25° monitor angle. The low design also makes it an ideal near-fill on the front of the stage when positioned horizontally.
The passive crossover is time and phase optimized.
The three different horns with different dispersion angles and the well thought-out detailed solutions with a wide range of accessories allow the Score-6 to be used and installed in a variety of ways.
With the integrated tiltable speaker flange, the tool-free mountable Easyfly mechanics or the multifunctional L-bracket, as well as U- and C-brackets and various M8 and M6 mounting points, all requirements are covered. A safety cable for secondary safety can be attached with a single-stud-fitting to the corrosion-resistant input panel made of V2A stainless steel.
Like the other Voice-Acoustic loudspeakers, the housing is made of sturdy birch plywood of highest quality: CNC milled, grooved, screwed and waterproof glued. The surface is protected by a stable and moisture-resistant polyurea coating in black. White speakers and special colours with 2K textured paint are optional available.
